What amenities are provided in a private room?

We provide linen sets, towels(complimentary, towel service), toilet articles (soap & shampoo), mini fridge, microwave, satellite TV, and luggage rack

What amenities are provided in a dorm?

We provide linen sets and one hand towel, blanket and a pillow.

Where can I park my car?

We refer guests to a nearby parking facility with the current DAILY PARKING rate of $10; or OVERNIGHT PARKING rate of $25 per car.* No ins and outs service.

What tours and activities do you offer?

We offer tours of San Francisco and the surrounding areas of Northern California. Book tours with our front desk to see San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Muir Woods, Wine Country, and more… We also offer discounts on bike rentals if you would like to bike San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge and Historic National Parks. If there is anything specific that you are interested in, ask us, we more than likely have a special discount agreement or recommendation to help save you time and money. Our activity manager also provides guide to clubs and entrance fee is free. Once a week we also have a free pizza night.

Is there any restriction to stay at your hostel?

A.We only offer accommodation for travelers so we only welcome guests outside of San Francisco county.

Do I need any kind of identification to stay at your hostel?

Yes, you must either have a passport or a U.S. government issued identification(i.e. drivers license, state id card, passport) that is up to date.

Do I need a membership to stay at your hostel?

No membership is required to stay at our hostel.

Is there a minimum or maximum stay?

There is no minimum stay, but our maximum stay is 14 consecutive days. If you would like to stay longer than 14 days, you will need to contact us in advance. Please e-mail us at orangevillagehostel@gmail.com.

Are there any age restrictions?

Anyone under 18 is not permitted without being accompanied by an adult guardian. Guests under 16 with a guardian is permitted only in private rooms unless an entire dorm is rented. Parents with young children must contact the hostel prior to booking.

Can I bring my own sleeping bag?

Due to hygiene standards we ask that you to do not use your sleeping bags on our beds. Linens and blankets are provided to all guests and additional blankets can be acquired if needed.

Can you guarantee that I get a bottom bunk?

No, we cannot guarantee you a bottom bunk. Beds are first-come first-serve. For those who check in at the same time and cannot agree on who gets the bottom bunk we can sanction an official paper, scissors, rock or thumb wrestling match officiated by our front desk staff to help determine who gets the preferred bunk.

Do you have Wi-Fi and Computer Kiosk access?

Yes, we provide both Wi-Fi and a Computer Kiosk for you to use at your leisure.

What grooming amenities are provided?

We have hair dryers that can be borrowed from the front desk and a clothing iron readily accessible.

Do you provide lockers or a safe?

Lockers are inside all dorm rooms but locks are not provided. If you bring your own lock, make sure you bring a small sized lock, because medium and large sized locks will not fit on our lockers.

Do you provide complimentary breakfast?

Yes, we provide a complimentary breakfast from 7 am to 10 am every morning. Breakfast includes self served waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bananas, milk, coffee and tea.

Is there a kitchen where we can cook?

Yes, a community kitchen is located on the first floo where breakfast is also served, and we provide general kitchen amenities.

Do you have mixed dorms?

No, we do not, but if you come in as a group and request in advance that your group would like to rent the whole room together, we can make exceptions.

Do you provide transportation to and from your hostel?

We provide shuttle service to SFO (San Francisco International Airport) from our hostel for $13 per person. Reservation is required a day before your departure. For more information, please find front desk.

Can I keep my bike at your hostel?

Bikes can be stored only in private rooms. All dorm guests will have make their own arrangements to store their bikes outside of the hostel.

Are pets allowed?

Only service dogs are allowed in private rooms. No pets are allowed in the dorm rooms.

Can we store our bags before check-in or after check-out?

Bags may be stored in our locked storage room free of charge until 9 pm, including on the days of check-in and check-out. After 9 pm there is a charge of $3 per bag for small bags an $5 for large bags. We can keep baggage overnight for a maximum of 3 nights with a fee. Please note that we can charge service fees by keeping the unannounced items more than 3 days or discard it.
